Job Details:
Huddle Up Moms, in partnership with Postpartum Support Virginia (PSVa), is immediately hiring an Administrator for the Haven on 5th, an innovative community space designed to address the needs of childbearing people, led by the two non-profits.
The mission of The Haven is to be a resource hub for all childbearing people in Southwest Virginia and to create programs that connect the community with healthcare providers and systems. The Haven is a physical resource hub focused on providing wrap-around services that reduce the negative health and mental health outcomes faced by individuals during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
The Haven Administrator will report to the Executive Director of Postpartum Support Virginia
and will work on projects with the Executive Director of Huddle Up Moms.
This is a 30 hour per week position. All work will be performed at The Haven on 5th.
The pay range is $18.00 - $21.00 per hour.
Responsibilities Include:
1. Provide day-to-day management and oversight of the Haven including:
a. Act as receptionist for The Haven. Greet community members, rentors, and all who enter with professionalism and courtesy.
b. Management of the space, including rentals, event reservations, corresponding with contractors (cleaning and grounds); and ensuring everyone at The Haven adheres to community guidlines.
c. Maintain accurate records including lease documents, rental agreements, and work orders.
d. Manage monthly invoices, and twice-annual community space fees.
e. Assist with bookkeeping and other financial functions as needed.
f. Administrative tasks as it relates to the Support Shop and management of intake and outflow supply.
g. Set up a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System and maintain for Huddle Up Moms
2. Manage The Haven’s communications strategy.
a. Manage The Haven’s social media pages.
b. Produce press releases as needed for events and partnerships.
c. Manage The Haven’s website content.
3. Launch a membership program for the Haven
a. Create a membership program for community-based businesses and
organizations such as doulas, childbirth educators, and lactation consultants.
b. Manage membership fees and benefits.
c. Ensure members have access to space for events and classes as needed. Maintain accurate calendar.
d. Create a Haven member newsletter, and other communications as needed.
4. Oversee event space rental
a. Create a marketing/media strategy for booking the space
5. Other Duties as assigned by Huddle Up Moms or Postpartum Support Virginia
The ideal candidate will possess:
● Non-profit experience or community outreach
● Thorough attention to detail.
● Excellent customer service skills
● Excellent verbal and written communication.
● Strong organizational skills.
● Confidence in decision-making.
● Familiarity with scheduling and organizational software.
● Familiarity with nonprofit structures or board governance preferred but not required
