Amy Foutz | DPT

"I’m passionate about the health of mothers and their babies because I believe that every parent has the right to make informed choices. I hope that Huddle Up Moms will provide a safe space to explore parenthood, for challenges big and small."

Amy is the mom to four wonderful children ranging in ages from 7-18. Besides coordinating the chaos of an active household, Amy is a physical therapist who specializes in pelvic floor rehab.  Originally from Minnesota, she moved to Durham, NC 16 years ago to attend Duke Medical School for physical therapy. She graduated from Duke with a doctorate in physical therapy and has specialized in pelvic floor rehab in the Roanoke Valley for the last 12 years. She is passionate about helping others obtain a healthy and active lifestyle through physical rehab.

Huddle Up Moms embraces, honors, and affirms the diverse and varied experiences of being a mother. We welcome and support all kinds of mothers (non/biological, step, adopted, foster) regardless of education, ethnicity, race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, nation of origin, age, religion, ability, opinion, or culture.

There is a place for everyone in our Huddle.
