Breastfeeding & Changing Pod 

Huddle Up Moms collaborated with Roanoke City Parks and Recreation and Girl Scout Troop 170 in the summer of 2022 to construct a new breastfeeding and changing station at the Wasena Greenway playground. This station alleviates the stress that many young families feel when utilizing the greenway system with small children, where there is frequently limited access to a clean and safe space to nurse or change their child. 

The project also served as the Silver Award project for the troop, allowing these young women to learn more about maternal health through their time with Huddle Up Moms and create a project that directly benefits their community.
